Women’s Empowerment and Leadership Programs

Through training, mentoring, and grassroots organizing, the National Organization of Initiative and Action (NOIA) empowers women — including Women Human Rights Defenders (WHRDs) — to become leaders within their communities, advocate for their rights, and drive meaningful, positive change across Afghanistan.
We are committed to building the skills, confidence, and resilience of women so they can stand up, speak out, and play a central role in shaping Afghanistan’s future. Our programs equip women with leadership tools, advocacy strategies, and protection mechanisms, enabling them to face challenges and amplify their voices safely and effectively.
To strengthen collaboration and share knowledge, NOIA is ready to provide full training materials to WHRD organizations upon request. We are also open to sharing more information and best practices with partners who share our vision of women’s empowerment in Afghanistan. However, to continue and expand this critical work — especially in the current challenging context — we need your support.
Your partnership will help us reach more women, build stronger networks, and ensure that Afghan women have the resources and opportunities they need to lead and protect their communities. Together, we can empower Afghanistan’s women to rise, lead, and create lasting change.
